Who we are and what this is

Nursing School Navigator ("NSN," "we," "us") is a directory of application deadlines for California BSN and ABSN nursing programs. We track approximately 48 California programs. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way an official representative of any nursing school or university.

These Terms of Service govern your use of nursingschoolnavigator.com. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The data and its limits — please read this

NSN's deadline data comes from the admissions pages of individual nursing programs. We check each entry against the school's own published page before adding it, and we note the source URL and the exact text we relied on.

Deadlines change. Schools revise them without notice, sometimes significantly and sometimes late in the application cycle. We update entries when we learn of a change, but we cannot guarantee that every entry reflects a school's current deadline at the moment you read it.

The school's admissions page is always the authoritative source. Before you submit or plan around any deadline on this site, confirm it directly with the school. Use NSN to find and track programs; use the school's own page to make final decisions.

NSN is a research aid, not an admissions authority. We are not liable for a missed application deadline, a rejected application, or any other consequence arising from reliance on our data.

What is free and what is paid

Free for everyone:

• The public deadline calendar: program name, campus, program type (BSN or ABSN), and the next published application deadline.

Paid features (one-time unlock):

• Deadline reminder emails sent to you before dates you choose to track.
• All tracked application cycles, not just the next deadline.
• Verification provenance: the source URL and the verbatim text from the school's page that our entry is based on.
• A saved program list tied to your account.

The unlock is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring charge of any kind.

How long your access lasts

Your unlock includes 12 months of access, starting the day you buy it.

We set a term because applying to nursing school runs on an annual cycle. Most people use NSN

intensively through one application season and then stop. A year covers that season, and

letting dormant accounts lapse is part of what keeps a one-time price sustainable instead of

forcing a subscription on everyone.

If you are still applying when your year is up, email us and we will extend it for free.

No conditions and no proof required — just ask. We would rather extend your access than have

you miss a deadline because of our billing model.

We will email you at your account address 30 days before your access ends.

If a term ends without an extension:

• Your account is deactivated and the paid features stop working.
• The free public deadline calendar stays available to you, exactly as it is to everyone else.
• Your saved program list is kept for 12 months after expiry, so reactivating restores it.
• Buying again later is at whatever the price is at that time.

This is still a one-time purchase. Nothing auto-renews, nothing recurs, and we will never

charge your card a second time unless you actively choose to buy again.

Payment

The one-time unlock fee is $29.

Payments are processed by Stripe. NSN never receives, sees, or stores your card number or full payment credentials. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy govern how your payment data is handled.

The fee is charged in US dollars. You will see the exact amount on Stripe's checkout screen before you confirm payment.

The error refund promise

We stand behind the accuracy of our verification provenance feature. If you purchase the paid unlock and find that a source URL we cited is wrong — meaning the URL does not load a page related to that program's admissions, or the verbatim quote we attributed to the page does not appear on that page — you are entitled to a full refund of your purchase price.

What counts as a covered error:

• A source URL that is dead, redirects to an unrelated page, or does not exist.
• A verbatim quote that does not appear on the cited page at all.

What does not count as a covered error:

• A deadline that a school has changed after we captured and published the entry. Deadlines change; we note when we last verified each entry and we update when we learn of changes, but a changed deadline is not an error in our data — it is a change in the school's data.
• A deadline that differs from a different source (another directory, a school email, etc.) but that still matches the page we cited.
• Dissatisfaction with the product generally.

How to claim:

Email nursingschoolnavigator@gmail.com with the subject line "Error Refund" and include: your account email, the program name in question, and a description of the discrepancy. We will review the claim and respond within five business days. If the claim is valid, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method within ten business days.

There is no partial refund. The remedy is a full refund of the purchase price.

Accounts

You create an account by providing your email address and setting a password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Anonymous visitors can track programs using their browser's local storage; that data lives on your device and we have no access to it.

We may suspend or terminate an account if we have reason to believe it is being used to abuse the service, scrape data at scale, or violate these Terms.

Intellectual property

The site's code, design, and original written content belong to [LLC LEGAL NAME]. The deadline data itself — program names, dates, source quotes — is compiled from publicly available admissions pages of schools that own that underlying information. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to reproduce, resell, or systematically copy the compiled database.

You may not use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download site content.

Disclaimers

The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not promise uninterrupted availability; we may take the site down for maintenance, updates, or other reasons at any time.

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from use of the site is limited to the amount you paid us (or zero if you paid nothing).

Some states do not permit limitation of certain warranties or liability caps. Those provisions apply to the extent allowed by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will update the Effective Date at the top and, if you have an account, send you a notice email. Continued use of the site after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.

Disputes and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [STATE OF FORMATION], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [STATE OF FORMATION]. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
